WorkbenchRVA is a friendly community-based workshop and we take great pride in this respect. It's crucial that all members feel safe and welcome in the shop at all times. There are basic rules to follow and being safe is one of the most important ones.

As a new member the most important thing is your safety and the safety of others. For this reason there is a mandatory safety course that will need to be completed prior to being granted access to the shop. This course will cover important safety information for all the tools in the shop. New members will be familiarized with the shop and how to use all machinery. Members will need to demonstrate competence to work safely in the shop space before receiving their safety completion card.

New Member Orientation may take up to 2 hours to complete.
